The role involves teaching students of all ages (7 - 18yrs - YoungWonks , 18+ yrs ProWonks ) critical thinking, programming, software development and engineering skills online. The role also involves development of promising and innovative software applications in the EdOptim and RaiseHand suite of products. YoungWonks is very selective and the acceptance rate for this profile is less than 5%. Rigorous training is provided to the selected candidates.

Role - Software Engineer - Full Stack
Responsibilities -
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, and test software solutions using industry best practices and technologies.
Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Develop product specifications and determine operational feasibility.
Document and maintain software functionality
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
Ensure software is updated with latest features
Qualifications : Final Year student pursuing Bachelor or Integrated Masters degree in Engineering.
Skill Requirement -
Ability to develop software in Java, Javascript, Node.js, HTML, CSS.
Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, etc)
Understanding of web applications utilizing at least one of the web framework - JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC.
Familiarity with server infrastructure,deployments and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of test-driven development & proficiency in software engineering tools
Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
Ability to document requirements and specifications.
Knowledge of one of the Javascript frameworks - React/Vue.js/Gatsby/Next.js will be a plus.
