Job Title: Master Class Mentor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Student Support Specialist/Mentor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to students in understanding academic concepts, maintaining effective communication with parents, monitoring class attendance and retention, assessing student learning and development in an online environment, and promptly addressing student inquiries with accuracy. This role requires the ability to establish positive relationships with students and parents while occasionally conducting one-on-one sessions for clarification of doubts via online platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Support and Doubt Resolution:
- Assist students with post-session doubts, providing guidance, and ensuring a clear understanding of academic concepts.
- Respond promptly and accurately to student inquiries to facilitate their learning process.
- Parent Communication and Feedback:
- Maintain effective communication with parents, collect and address their feedback to foster a positive and collaborative relationship.
- Class Attendance and Retention:
- Emphasize tracking and ensuring students' class attendance and retention for the upcoming academic session.
- Assessment of Student Learning and Development:
- Evaluate students' learning and development in an online environment, ensuring comprehensive assessment methods are employed.
- Establishing Connections with Students and Parents:
- Develop strong connections with students and parents to enhance retention for the upcoming academic year.
- One-on-One Sessions:
- Conduct occasional one-on-one sessions with students over online platforms such as Google Meet for better clarification of doubts, utilizing laptop and digitizer tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in [relevant field].
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Proficiency in online communication platforms and digital tools.
- Prior experience in education or student support roles is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions:
- This role may require occasional evening or weekend availability to accommodate student and parent schedules.
